Anya gave a bit of a smile when the boy went off to feed Att and set the book back down again. "How're you feeling," she asked lightly when he came back to her side, wrapping her own arms around his waist and grinning up at him lovingly. "When I got here you were flat out... and you were still holding onto a pencil," she chuckled lightly, "I was worried you were sick or something," she added with a gentle nudge to the side.

Sage chuckled and gave the girl a sheepish smile. "I guess I was just really tired," he admitted. "Staying up all night with a child tends to do that," he pointed out good naturedly. "Doesn't it little man," he cooed in a funny voice at Att, even though the lad was asleep by then. He leaned into Anya though, after setting Att down to the side and wrapped his own arms around the girl. They could cuddle while Att was asleep.

Anya hummed in thought for a moment before giving a bit of a chuckle. "He's got so much energy," she mused for a moment as she rested her head on his. "We could take him out to the gardens for a bit... the fresh air might knock him out before bed, and then you might be able to sleep through the night for once." It might not work, but they could give it a go... it wasn't like Anya had anything better to do for the time being, anyway. The fresh air would be good for everyone.

Sage thought for a moment before nodding. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it. The fresh air would be good even if he doesn't sleep through the night," he admitted. In all honesty, it would be nice for them to get outside to just relax too. And if the girl had nothing to do, it would be nice to get out and have some fun together. "You could invite Luther out too," he suggested. "He could use some unwind time too," he told the girl.

Anya gave a slight nod, before pecking the boy on his cheek. "I'm sure Luther would like to come out... he can meet Att that way, too." she chirped lightly before giving him a bit of a squeeze and sitting up a bit. "I've nothing better to do, anyways... not until later. I managed to get everything done this morning, so should be free for the rest of the day." She murmured lightly.

Sage chuckled and nodded. "Good," he giggled. "That means we have plenty of time together." He was pretty much just tiredly joking around at this point, though if course jokes always had some meaning to them, and this one was no different. "Att might be good for Luther anyway," he chuckled. "He'll have to have a little boy of his own one day...maybe I should hand Att off to him for a day or two and see how he takes it," he all but giggled, though of course he wasn't going to do that...to either of them. He trusted Luther, he just didn't trust him to know what to do with a baby.

Anya wrinkled her nose at his comment about Luther having a little boy some say... it was true enough, but it also wasn't exactly something she wanted going through her head at the moment. It wasn't just going to be Luther having this child, whenever it happened. "Don't remind me," she complained before turning her head into his chest as if she was trying to hide a bit. "Please don't leave Att with him," she pleaded, though there was a hint of amusement in her voice. "Knowing Luther, he'd probably forget where he left him." She murmured lightly, "well, that, or Att with forget where he left Luther."

Sage chuckled and wrapped his arms around the girl, amused by her reaction. Then he shook his head and laughed again at her second comment. "My money's on the second one," he joked lightly. Technically he had no money but that was irrelevant..it was just a saying. The boy would leave Luther behind in a second, and as nice as the older boy was, Sage just didn't see how he'd have the speed or energy to keep up with Att for very long...or at all. He patted the girl, grinning as he imagined what the sigh would look like.

Anya chuckled softly before nodding her agreement. Luther was a good guy, but he didn't have the patience to sit around with a child all day. "He's going to be useless when we have kids," she complained before sinking into his arms a little more. "Att could probably run circles around him, and the child can barely walk." she chuckled slightly before wrapping her arms back around.

Sage chuckled at the thought of Atticus crawling and tumbling around as Luther spun in circles, trying to keep up with the younger boy. "He has a good heart, but he's kinda gullible," he chuckled, resting his head on Anya's shoulders. "You have your work cut out for ya, but you'll be a great mom. And queen." He did wish he would be there to see her take the throne, to see her make the changes she said she would...but that just wasn't how things would work. Unless both her parents suddenly died somehow, and soon, he'd be long gone before that happened. There was really no way around it...he couldn't stay here forever. (What if after the formal, they somehow get separated and the rebellion cuts the towns off from the castle and Sage is stuck down there? And Anya/Luther have to try and figure out where he's at and all that? Might be interesting lol, and it would give Luther a taste of what the slums were like.)
