Amber smirked "what are you a knight in tacky clothes?" She joked.

Amber sat back in the chair when the nurse came running in "are guys alright?!" She asked panicked

"Yeah yeah" amber waved her off "hero boy over here scratched though" she made a face

He shrugged. "It barely even bled." He didnt feel like arguing with her over the nickname, so he stayed quiet. Then he looked in the corner and frowned. "The only thing left is where do I want to hide the body. A river would be cool, but theres not many around here. I could bury him, but that's a lot if work. Throwing him in a dumpster would smell a bit, unless the rats ate him before then." He tapped his lip with a pointer finger, thinking.

Amber narrowed her eyes at Sage, she had mastered 'mind reading' just by watching people when she was on the streets.

"No" she said with a chuckle "It's got nothing to do with you anymore" Amber pointed to where the body layed just two minutes pryor.

He looked over at Amber, confused for a moment. "Huh?" He shrugged. "Oh well, more time for food." He shoved another strawberry in his mouth.

"Agreed"amber chuckled while the nurse looked at them astonished but left them again when she was called to look after another patient.

"Tomorrow we parts ways huh?" Amber said as she ate more strawberries

He shrugged. "Yup. I go back to....wherever I feel like hanging and you do whatever you do." He watched the nurse leave and chuckled. "I take it people here are...less than thrilled I've killed people."

Amber shrugged "I have too..they know that" amber looked at him briefly "The nurse came to make sure we were still here, not to see if we had died" she laughed softly

He snickered. "If I actually wanted to leave, I could have." He gestured to the window. "It isn't even bullet proof. One punch and I'm out. But I figured if they're feeding me I can put up with being here for two days."

Amber nodded a 'fair enough' nod. "That nurse gets us proper food because we don't normally get it on the streets" Amber looked out the door "be careful of your wounds on your back when you leave, without proper care they can get infected pretty badly and you will be paralysed"

He shrugged it off. "I'll be fine. Been doing this since I was five."
