Heather Proudstorm | 17 | Student | Beginner Eventer | Nightmare "Prince" | Mentions: Catherine, Rose.

Heather would notice the woman waving her over. She shyly waved in a hello gesture, accompanied with a shy smile as both her and her dog make their way over to the round pen of where both the Student and equine are at. She leans against the fence to get comfortable as Toby sat comfortable sat next to the brunette, the dog would be looking at Catherine with his tail wagging. His tongue would be sticking out on the left side of his jaw while he was panting.

"Gorgeous horse you got there." Heather gave the girl a kind compliment about the equine. "Oh um, my name is Heather by the way." The girl timidly added, feeling a bit embarrassed that she didn't introduce herself to the other student first while glancing at the dog every once and a while to make sure that he stays right where he is sitting.

Her eyes would glance over when Heather caught sight of movement again, she turned her head to the left to see another girl walking over to them. She gave another nervous wave as a hello gesture yet again. Prince would seem quite comfortable with their new surroundings alright. The tall Hanoverian lowered his head to snack on the grass that he found since he was just being lead around for now.

Akyra Dawson | Student | Jay & Mars | M: NA

Akyra pulled into the nicely sized parking lot, selecting a shaded spot to unload her horses. She pulled up and out the silver truck in park. Cutting, the engine, she rolled down the window for her dog, leaving him in the truck for a bit. Walking around the back of the 3 horse trailer, Kyra dropped the ramp, and undid both butt bars, and both horses simultaneously back out in a practiced fashion. She caught both the color coordinated lead ropes (Royal Blue for Jay, Black for Mars). Kyra clucked gently and turned the horses to the side of the trailer, and tied them up. Opening the tack room door, she walked over to Jay. "Hey, buddy." She cooed. "How was your ride?" Efficiency removing his blue shipping boots and matching nylong travel sheet, she neatly placed them in the trailer, and moved to Mars. Making similar small talk to him, as she removed his equipment, identical to Jay's except in black. After giving them each a small treat, the undid their fastenings and lead them towards the large barn, both stallions prancing lightly. After stepping into the barn, and letting her eyes adjust, Akyra took in the beautiful stable. She walked down the aisle, the horses shod hooves clopping softly. She noted two empty stalls, with Mars and Jay written respectively, she placed them in their stalls, leaving on halters for the time being, and went to grab them some hay from the trailer.

Jacob Wells | Student | Magic & Monty | M: NA

Jacob pulled into one of the quieter corners of the parking lot, allowing his horses to unload with less stress. His two horse trailer pulled nice and quiet for the fairly short trip. Unloading both horses separately, and tying them side by side, Jacob hadn't bother with shipping equipment due to the short ride, but did run a brush over the horses slightly dusty coats. Speaking quietly to his buddies as Jacob did so. Grabbing a light blue (Magic) and a hunter green (Monty) lead rope, Jacob headed off for the barn. The last two stalls on the left were labeled for his horses, Jacob was glad, hopefully less traffic, to agitate Magic. He placed the in the stalls and hung the hay bags he had carried in, with his other hand. He leaned gently on the front of Magic's stall. "You gonna be happy here girl?" He asked. "Maybe we'll make some friends..."

Morgan Byron | Instructor (SJ) | Foxy & Ty | M: Keelan & Joslyn

In a practiced fashion Morgan had his two mares unloaded and in there stalls, happily munching on hay. The filly, Ty, letting out high pitched whinnies at the new horse. She had settled fairly quickly and was know laying down, resting, but alert. Morgan then went off to find the other instructors. He wanted to get in tough with them, being hired late Morgan didn't know who his students were or when/where he would be teaching. He checked the barns and the offices but found no one. He then grabbed a suitcase and headed for the instructor house.

Joslyn Arnell | Instructor | M: Keelan

Joslyn was so preoccupied that when the knock sounded from the window she immediately inhaled a breath and began choking on saliva. She brought a hand to her chest to try to calm her hearbeat as she violently coughed, and after realizing it was Keelan, she began bellowing with laughter. "Do you make a habit of scaring people half to death?" A large smile was now fully on display on her face as she met the man's eyes. She giggles at his stance, not being able to take him seriously in the moment. "And yes, I am feeling much better."

Her thoughts wavered as she thought back on what they discussed yesterday. Suddenly feeling nervous about being vulnerable with him, she wanted to make sure that he knew that she wasn't normally like that. "I'm sorry if our first meeting went off on the wrong foot, I don't usually pile on so much to people I don't know." She hoped that he wouldn't view her differently because of their conversation.

Brooke Camden | Student | M: Heather, Catherine, Rose

She finally made it out to the arena to join Catherine and was pleasantly surprised to see some of the other students around. She recognized Rose who was at a distance, Catherine was mid lunging her gelding, and Heather was accompanied by her horse and shepherd. Not wanting to interrupt any conversation, she merely smiled in greeting to the girls and entered the arena to lunge Red, who was patiently following behind Brooke.

Alden Camden | Student | M: Ryker

Alden realized that his sister had once again dumped her responsibilities onto him and shook his head, a grin displayed on his face. "Alright then, we'll start by getting the horses their morning feed. After, we'll turnout the horses that need to be in the fields." He handed Ryker some of the feed buckets that he was carrying, each one labeled with the name of a horse. "All of the stalls have nametags, just match the bucket to the stall." It was easy enough work. Once they got this trivial stuff down he could show Ryker the John Deers that they use to drive around the property for easy travel. It made getting hay to the paddocks that much easier.

Keelan O'Brian | Western Instructor | M: Joslyn

He joins in with her laughter, though not as loud, "I am so sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."

His eyes scan over the room in an attempt to keep her from feeling anymore uncomfortable, "No it's fine. I actually like to offer advice. Makes me feel smart." He gives her a lopsided grin, readjusting his hat to sit back a bit more.

He seemed a bit hesitant, though still his overly happy self, "Want to join me on a ride? Not right now, or even today. We can even make it a trail ride for everyone. You just looked a bit lost, maybe stressed and obviously down emotionally from last night." He shoves his hands into the pockets of his jeans, now seemingly a bit sheepish.

Keelan eyes the window, catching a glimpse of a napping Dan, "It's completely fine if not. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask." Keelan's normally confident self had a tinge of awkwardness or embarrassment, which was strange because he meant tje request as a sign of friendship and to help. Why he was so flustered was beyond his southern hospitality mind. Keelan clears his throat, "You're probably busy anyways. Nevermind."

The man turns for the door, nearly running straight into it. He stops for a second to stare at it as if the door had moved to hit him and not his terrible sense of direction before scurrying from the room like that of a nervous school boy. He sighs once back with Dan and unties the horse, slowly picking up his orginal quest with dread for passing the lounge door again.

Joslyn Arnell | Instructor | M: Keelan, Any

Perplexed by the male's sudden change in behavior, Joslyn only watched with her mouth slightly ajar as he backed out of the room. She was left momentarily confused. Did she say something wrong? Not wanting their conversation to end like that, she dashed from her seated position on the sofa and out into the aisle. She managed to catch him before he left with his horse and smiled awkwardly. "I'd love to join you for a ride. The trails on the property are like none you've seen before, they are so worth it. How about later today, after lessons."

Joslyn didn't wait for his reply before she ducked back in the lounge room with a heated face. That was a brazen move even for her and it made her question her own intentions. It was just being friendly. She could show him the trails so that he grew more familiar with the land, that was all. These excuses filled her head, but she tried to push them aside as she poured herself a cup of coffee and added cream. She took a long sip, contemplating her meager existence, then went off to see where the students were. Lessons would be starting soon, after all.
